Lori Sandman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont, where she studied Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. After graduate coursework and publication of research in molecular biology and biophysics, she worked in the areas of soil and environmental science, applying academic and practical experience to natural resources concerns. She went on to attend the University of Montana School of Law in Missoula, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree. Accomplishments and Affiliations
Attorney Sandman holds a number of different accomplishments, awards, and accolades to her credit. She is a proud recipient of the American Bar Association Award for Excellence in the study of Intellectual Property Law. She also received the Outstanding Student in International Law Award from the University of Montana, where she completed her graduate law studies. Attorney Sandman is a member of the Volusia County (Florida) Bar Association, where she chairs the Solo/Small Practice Section and serves on the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Berks County (Pennsylvania) Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (AIPLA), the Florida Bar, and the Pennsylvania Bar. She is a past president and founding member of the Hamburg Area Education Foundation, a past member of the USDA’s Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Administrative Council (SARE), and was recently recognized in the Who’s Who of American Women 2020. When she’s not assisting clients with business and intellectual property law matters, Attorney Sandman might be found in the classroom. As an adjunct professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Florida Coastal School of Law, she has taught and learned from our next generation of thought leaders.
