Score Workshop Announcement

On Thursday February 18, 2020 Attorney Lori J. Sandman presented a SCORE workshop on intellectual property at Daytona State College. In her talk “Intellectual Property & Business Law Basics 2020: How to Protect Your Business”, she discussed the different forms of intellectual property used to protect valuable ideas in the U.S. and globally, and the impact they have on businesses competing for innovation. Professor Sandman also described the need for managing innovation and investing in it. The presentation explained why any company wishing to survive in today’s economy needs to manage innovation better than its competitors, and how they can do it.
